Day 37 - Marina Bay Sands Hotel, Singapore

Friday night started rough for me because our plane was delayed at Clark airport and we were already going to cut it close getting to the hotel in time to swim in the famous infinity pool before it closed at 11.  Short story: I very pleasantly explained our story to the front desk lady who politely said no to an upgrade (I had booked the cheaper garden view room since reviews said you could see the city view from the pool anyway)...and then she promptly upgraded us.  Yay!  We tried going to the amazing club Ku De Ta at the top of the building, but by the time we got there (after 11pm) the cover charge was a whopping $35. So we made sure to get up at the crack of dawn to see the sunrise at the rooftop pool and swim the length of it.  I don't do many selfies, but I think you will understand the gratuitous amount seen below.  :)
